Kia Ora, I’m Nickie Hursthouse, a New Zealand registered dietitian (NZRD) and Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD).

I am a dietitian here to help you ditch the diet.

Because ditching the diet is the key to building a body you trust.

When you trust your body, you're able to show up in life with more brain space, less obsession over food and the knowledge (read: power) to nourish your body and mind for success.

Trusting your body also allows you to feel empowered and confident around food.

Feeling confident around food means knowing what foods are right for your body, your family and your environment. It means having the skills and confidence to make simple, flavoursome meals without food going to waste. It means knowing how to spot misinformation or ‘nutrition quackery’ and knowing when to tune out from mass marketing for fad diets.

Food is so much more to us than just a vehicle for nutrition. We have to remember that. And developing and sustaining a healthy relationship with food and with yourself needs to focus on what works for both your body and your mind.

I have worked across the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Using my signature program with a combination of nutrition, movement and mindset work, I have helped CEOs, business leaders, business owners and everyday women to improve their health, gain more energy, reframe their stress and have the resources they need to thrive.

I’m here to help you ditch the diet and find a new way with food that works for you.

One that is realistic and one that encompasses all of the reasons that we need food in our life.

We aren’t meant to navigate this world alone, and we can’t expect to navigate the world of food and health alone.
